brussel sprouts with pine nuts

health benefits:
  • Brussel sprouts are high in iron, which is very important vor vegans
  • Pine nuts include many unsaturated fatty acids
ingredients (for two servings):
  • 300gram Brussel sprouts
  • 1tbs pine nuts
  • 1tbs oil (linseed, olive, walnut)
  1. Wash and clean the Brussels sprouts, put them in a pot with boiling water and let them cook at low heat for 5 minutes.
  2. Steam the pine nuts in a pan without oil.
  3. Mix Brussel sprouts, pine nuts and oil and serve it together with potato mush, millet or something else.
