millet bowl

ingredients: (two servings)
  • 200gram millet
  • 150ml soy drink
  • 300gram grapes
  • 1 apple
  • 6 dates
  • 1tsp cinnamon
  1. Fill a pot with 400ml water, bring it to the boil, add millet, turn the heat off and let it soak for 10 minutes.
  2. Wash and slice grapes in halfs and apple in chunks and put in a bowl.
  3. Chop the dried dates and add to the bowl.
  4. When millet is done, add soy drink and cinnamon, mingle and add to the bowl.
Tip: If you like you can add some walnuts on top – they provide you with a lot of unsaturated fatty acids, plant based proteins and give a nutty taste. 
When I created this recipe, I used vanilla soy drink which is much sweeter than the normal one. If it’s not sweet enough for your taste, you can add syrup or peanut mush.
