ingredients: (two servings)
- 200gram millet
- 150ml soy drink
- 300gram grapes
- 1 apple
- 6 dates
- 1tsp cinnamon
- Fill a pot with 400ml water, bring it to the boil, add millet, turn the heat off and let it soak for 10 minutes.
- Wash and slice grapes in halfs and apple in chunks and put in a bowl.
- Chop the dried dates and add to the bowl.
- When millet is done, add soy drink and cinnamon, mingle and add to the bowl.
Tip: If you like you can add some walnuts on top – they provide you with a lot of unsaturated fatty acids, plant based proteins and give a nutty taste.
When I created this recipe, I used vanilla soy drink which is much sweeter than the normal one. If it’s not sweet enough for your taste, you can add syrup or peanut mush.
